Noritake porcelain was made in Japan after 1904 by Nippon Toki Kaisha. A maple leaf mark was used from 1891 to 1911. The best known Noritake pieces are marked with the "M" in a wreath for the Morimura Brothers, a New York City distributing company. This mark was used primarily from 1911 to 1921 but was last used in the early 1950s. The "N" mark was used from 1940 to the 1960s, and "N Japan" from 1953 to 1964.
