These handmade ceramic plates by Heavyweight Ceramics reinterpret the fried egg as a minimalist still life—softly irregular, speckled stoneware grounds a glossy golden yolk that rises gently from the surface. Each piece feels intentional yet organic, embracing variation as part of its charm.

Originally designed as spoon rests, these versatile forms invite reinterpretation: a catch-all for jewelry, a small appetizer plate, a bedside object, or a sculptural accent layered into a tabletop vignette. Crafted by Nashville-based ceramist Lindsay Bost each plate is slab-built from durable stoneware and finished by hand. Microwave and dishwasher safe, these pieces are made to be lived with, not just admired.
