Produced during the mid-century modern boom in Italian glassmaking across regions like Murano and Empoli, this architectural trio of vintage hand-blown glass ash receivers features a vibrant electric cobalt blue hue. Rooted in the Italian Biomorphic and Space Age design movements of the era, the silhouette pairs dramatic, organic free-form lobes with an embossed hobnail geometric grid along the interior base, creating a captivating interplay of light, refraction, and tactile depth. Each vessel is shaped with sweeping, undulating rims engineered to nest seamlessly into a single multi-layered sculpture measuring 3 ½ inches high by 4 ½ inches wide when stacked, or to be displayed individually as standalone accents. Retaining its original circular red-and-gold foil export sticker—a standard labeling detail used by Italian glasshouses throughout the late sixties and seventies—the set remains in excellent vintage condition with minimal surface wear consistent with age and gentle handling.
