Ingredients:

2 Cups Corn Masa Flour 

1 ½ Fresh Beet Juice 

1 tsp Salt 


Equipment:

Bowl 

Tortilla press or rolling pin

Griddle or pan

 

Method:

  1. Turn on the griddle to medium heat.
  2. Mix corn and salt together. 
  3. Pour in the fresh beet juice. 
  4. Mix together with a bowl scraper or spatula. 
  5. Roll into individual palm-size balls. 
  6. Place balls in between food safe plastic and flatten with a tortilla press or a rolling pin. 
  7. Place onto the griddle for about one and half minutes on each side or until the edges curl up.
