A sculptural red, blue and green parrot in grooming position. A bronze sculpture in the style of Franz Bergmann. Set on a green marble base with a bronze  relief. In excellent original condition. No chips. No cracks. Some minor discoloration due to age.

Cold-painted bronze' refers to pieces cast in Vienna and then decorated in several layers with dust paint. The color is not fired hence 'cold painted'.
