We are calling this catch a peacock bowl. So many depths of green in this art deco piece. Attributed to Pierre D'Avesn. No mark. Pierre's style. To obtain the beautiful emerald green coloring, chromium oxide and iron oxide were added during the fusion of the glass bowl. Sourced in Rome.
In Art Deco style, Pierre D'Avesn, an artist who at that time worked at the Daum glassworks developed an innovative technique of molded glass, obtaining pieces of amazing transparency and brilliance as our bowl.
