An exquisite example of mid-century Venetian art glass, this organic tri-lobed centerpiece vessel is attributed to Flavio Poli for Seguso Vetri d'Arte, c. 1960–1968. Sourced directly for ByCloudia from a private collection in Bologna, Italy, the piece is masterfully executed using the iconic sommerso technique, suspending an intense, radiant core of cobalt blue glass within a heavy casing of crystal-clear optical glass. While hot, the vessel was hand-pulled into a fluid, biomorphic three-point silhouette, offering smooth curves that catch and distort light from every angle. Remaining in excellent vintage condition with light, natural surface wear on the base consistent with age, it serves as a sculptural catchall, vide-poche, or standalone table sculpture.
