Sterling Silver and Enamel Brooch. In fabulous condition. A staircase leading to an open door that was created by Ettore Sottsass. Includes original ACME velvet pouch and newspaper clipping. Collector piece.

"Ettore Sottsass was born in Innsbruck in 1917.  He started his career and set up studios in Milan in 1947. In 1957 he began designing computers, typewriters, and furniture systems for Olivetti. Announced "Memphis" project in 1981.  The father of avant-garde design in Italy. Currently he is working on artists' live-in retreat to be built on Maui, Hawaii by ACME studios."  - clipping
