Crafted in Belgium during the mid-twentieth century between 1938 and 1962, this exceptional set of ten crystal coupes showcases the restrained elegance and master glassmaking of Val St. Lambert. Executed in the iconic State Plain pattern, each piece features a broad flared bowl supported by a distinctive single-knop stem and a wide grounded foot measuring three inches in diameter. The heavy, mouth-blown crystal stands four inches tall with a top diameter of three and three-quarters inches, offering superb clarity and a tactile weight that highlights the clean, architectural silhouette defining fine Belgian glassware. Unsigned, which is indicative of early production runs within the series, these versatile pieces remain in excellent vintage condition with minimal signs of wear, functioning effortlessly as classic champagne coupes, craft cocktail glasses, or sophisticated dessert vessels for entertaining.
